Privacy Policy

ScoredByAI measures how often ChatGPT recommends local businesses in the United States. This page says what we collect, why we have it, who else touches it, and how to make us delete it. It is short because the service collects little.

What we collect

• Your email address. You give it to us when you ask for a free check or create an agency account. It is also the address we send reports and invoices to.
• The business you ask about. Usually a Google Maps link, from which we keep the place ID, plus the city, state and category we derive from it.
• Account details you type in the portal. Agency name, billing email, and the billing address if you fill one in.
• Basic request data. IP address and timestamps, kept with the request so we can enforce rate limits and spot abuse.

We do not ask for a payment card. Invoices are paid by bank transfer through our billing partner, and we never see card details.

The measurements themselves are about businesses, not about you: how often a business is recommended, by which listing, next to which competitors.

Why we have it

• To run the check you asked for and deliver the report.
• To run your account: sign-in links, report notifications, invoices, support replies.
• To keep the service usable: rate limits, abuse checks, and our own error logs.

We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use your data to train models.

Who else touches it

Only the companies that run parts of the service for us:

• DigitalOcean: hosting and the database (United States).
• Resend: email delivery.
• Mellow: invoicing and payments.
• OpenAI: the measurement prompts themselves. Those prompts carry a city and a category, never your email address.
• Google Maps Platform: looking up the business you sent us. We store the place ID and the rank we saw, not Google's names or ratings.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We hand data to anyone else only if the law makes us.

There is no analytics on the site: no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no third-party trackers. Cookies exist only to keep you signed in to the portal and to protect its forms.

How long we keep it

• Account data: while the account exists, and up to 12 months after you close it.
• Free-check requests: up to 12 months.
• Reports and the measurements behind them: kept, because a report you were sent has to stay readable at its link.
• Invoices: as long as accounting rules require.
• Unsubscribe records: kept for good. That record is the only thing that stops us from emailing you again.

How to get it deleted

Write to legal@scoredbyai.com from the address in question and say what you want gone. We delete the account and the personal data attached to it within 30 days, except invoices and the unsubscribe record, which we have to keep. There is no form to fill in and no retention offer waiting for you.

The same address works for a copy of your data or a correction.

Emails

If we emailed you and you never used this site: we wrote to a public work address listed on your agency's own website. We do not buy address lists. One click on the unsubscribe link and we never write again.

Service emails (your report is ready, sign-in links, invoices) come with the account. Anything promotional carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and you can always reply or write to legal@scoredbyai.com and we will add you to our do-not-contact list.

Who we are

ScoredByAI is a business-to-business service for agencies, consultants and business owners in the United States. It is not meant for consumers and not directed at children. The operator and postal address are named in our Terms.

Changes

This page carries a date. If we change something that matters, we update the date here and tell account holders by email.
